Living in the Present

We’re still in Port Aransas, TX. We recently visited the Maritime Museum in Rockport. We learned quite a bit about the history of the Gulf Coast. Meanwhile, each week we learn more about plans for construction in this area, which includes a proposed desalination plant and a new oil refinery. Follow these links for more information:

If you want to visit the Texas Gulf Coast, do it soon. Take it from me, it is changing every day. Not for the better. We love it here, but I’m not sure we will come back here again.
